The Muyushina Ensemble invites you to embark on a sonic journey that traverses diverse cultures and musical traditions, enriched with scenic elements, poetry, and innovative performance techniques. Through a selection of melodies and rhythms from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, the choir employs choral arrangements that respect the musical traditions of each region. Incorporating vocal improvisations and soundscapes, they evoke the diverse landscapes and histories of these cultures. Additionally, original works inspired by the traditional sounds of Ecuador's indigenous peoples are included. This concert represents a journey through the life cycle expressed through the female body and experience, from the darkness of the beginning of life, through childhood and maturity, to the return to darkness, death. With this initiative, the ensemble seeks to celebrate cultural diversity and human connection through sound and music.
