LYRIC ART CONCERT: THE NEW VOICES OF CLASSICAL MUSIC IN EMBLEMATIC WORKS OF ECUADOR

The Armonía Cultural Foundation presents the voices of Arte Lírico in an extraordinary gathering of Ecuadorian and Latin American composers. You can enjoy two concerts that will take you on a musical journey through various musical genres and styles from the Americas and Ecuador.

​

The first concert is a tribute to the Ecuadorian composer and his music. Additionally, for the first time and as a world premiere, the pasillo "Amor sublime" by Ecuadorian composer Alejandra Pesantez will be performed, as well as 14 other works by internationally renowned Ecuadorian composers such as Paco Godoy, Gerardo Guevara, Diego Luzuriaga, and others.

The second concert features several composers from Latin America and Ecuador. We'll hear one of our foreign guests, countertenor Key'mon Murray, perform San Juanito Esperanza by Ecuadorian composer Gonzalo Moncayo.

This show will feature 25 professional singers, 16 accompanying pianists, a guitarist, and 19 Ecuadorian composers, who will perform the most popular songs using lyrical singing techniques.

As the Armonía Cultural Foundation, in coordination with Wagner Pastor and Andrea Salazar, we seek to showcase Ecuador's talent in classical music to enhance this cultural wealth. We also want to generate an audience that enjoys lyrical art and Ecuadorian works. In this way, we highlight our music, our language, and our Ecuadorian and Latin American rhythms." The Armonía Cultural Foundation, a non-profit organization, opened its doors to culture on September 23, 2011. Its goal is to promote educational and sociocultural projects to foster the exchange of experiences in all areas of the arts.
